Never even heard of it until this year, but we burnt our own last year. We,re burning another on 26 0ct this year '08. I'm in Denmark, Western Australia, and I'm the administrator of the event. I'd love to hear from anyone who wants to contact me. We called last years event "The Pagan Festival" and this year is the "Beltane Wickerman Festival '08". Last year was a small jobee (an old wardrobe on a stick 7m high), but attracted a lot of attention and was great, if very muddy fun. We have shifted the dates(last year was our Imbolc,4 Aug, the middle of our rainy season- known as Djilba by the local Noongar people)to accommodate a more family friendly event. We are interested in contact with anyone with similar interests and/or ideas, don't be shy, we only bite when we're hungry. Never went.
