This turned up in one of my searches. Probably too late to comment, still here it is.

The best way to get calendar data from exchange 2007 I have found is using DavMail (davmail.sourceforge.net) that just uses the OWA interface. It is very simple to setup, and once CalDAV setup is done as given on the site, the free/busy information of all contacts fetched from global LDAP addressbook are visible in lightning. Also provides for IMAP, POP, LDAP etc. if those are not provided by the exchange server.

A fractal moment indeed . . .

I've just started a new job, (where find me a bit strange because I love talking about fractals) and was setting up my computer today.
First job, fix the interface and remove the standard MS wallpaper and replace it with something cool... Like a picture of Callinish I took while there last Sept.
Next step, install Firefox and Thunderbird and somehow get TB talking to the exchange server, so following a link from Google, I find your page.
Proof that everything is fractal? Callinish on your banner, the info I need to get TB running, and some great fractal pics to show co-workers what I am talking about...

What a score!!! Many thanks for the help above....

(PS I was on Lewis tracing back my ancestors who are Macleods and Macaulays)

Thanks!

I had found another post but it wasn't as clear. The default port did not work for me either but the alternate one you mentioned did.

Works a treat now! The only thing is to find how to integrate it with the Calendar.

I followed the guide but still no luck, I can confirm my LDAP settings are correct because I used the same settings on Outlook Express Address Book and which can search the users' information via LDAP, however, when I do the same settings on Thunderbird, it didn't requested me to input domain password..and when I click Offline to download, it just shows Replication failed...do you have any good ideas? (I am using ubuntu8.04)
